Soccer Banquet Monday 2/25/13 @ 6:00pm

CHS SOCCER TEAM POTLUCK BANQUET
 
Please join us to honor the Carmel High School Soccer team.

WHEN: Confirmed for Monday, February 25th, 2013, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

WHERE: CHS Cafeteria

• Last names A-P:  please bring a main dish and/or side dish to serve 6-8 people.
• Last names R-Z:  please bring a dessert.

 Please bring your own plates and silverware. Drinks, cups, and napkins will be provided.

PLEASE RSVP ASAP to Alondra Klemek at lalavk@hotmail.com or 277-1294.  Include # in family attending & covered dish and/or dessert.  We can help you choose a dish and dessert to ensure we have a variety.

Varsity and JV Captains (and anyone else who has time) must be there early to help set up and stay after to clean up.

IMPORTANT:

• JV players should bring $15 for a coach's gift.  Please give your donation to Andrew Good or his mom at the banquet.
• Varsity player should bring $20 for a coach's gift. Please give your donation to Kes Harper.

All players: JV and Varsity bring your freshly clean, folded uniforms and packs to the banquet!
Repeat. All players bring your clean, folded uniforms and packs to the banquet to turn in to your coach.

Many JV players and some Varsity may not get this information because we are on school break. Players, use text and Facebook to contact any players and families that may be on vacation or away. Let them know the banquet date, time, and send them the link to this post.

THE BUS WILL LEAVE CARMEL HIGH AT 12 NOON.

BANQUET: Save the Date!

WE WILL HAVE OUR BANQUET ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY  25th, 6:00 - 7:30-ish, IN THE CAFETERIA AT THE HIGH SCHOOL.

Wow!

What a fantastic way to close out League play! JV put it all together and played brilliant football in the last game against PG. Varsity earned a win against a much improved Marina to end our League season undefeated, the first time ever that a Carmel High School boys team has done so!

HISTORY!!!

Second place in league, CCS here we come.

CCS meeting on Saturday, Feb 16, to find out who, where and when we play. Expect the first match to be on Wednesday, Feb 21st. Win, and we will play the following Saturday, then Wednesday and Saturday for the final.

Wednesday, Feb. 13th is Senior Day. We honor the Senior players at this game. Parents of Seniors please attend if you can. Our final regular-season game against Marina is a critical game. Come out and cheer on our team to a big win.

Jumping ahead... The Zito family has volunteered to help coordinate the end of season banquet. Their son is a freshman and they are new to the area. We need a person(s) that has had experience with sports banquets and CHS systems to coordinate with the Zito's to show them the ropes and work on the banquet. Reply to this email/message if you can volunteer and I will put you together. JV and Varsity Captains will need to be thinking about coaches gifts.

Post-Season Change

We have two more games to play to finish the regular season.

• Monday, Feb. 11th PG @ Carmel
• Wednesday, Feb. 13th Marina @ Carmel

If the team makes it into CCS (post-season playoffs)... the CCS game schedule has been moved up by one week placing the CCS games and practice days right in the week of Feb. Break. If we make it into CCS playoffs a schedule of practices and game(s) will be announced. Stay tuned and flexible!

We know changing plans for February Break can be difficult, please make any changes possible to allow for your player to participate if we make it into the CCS playoffs.

In the meantime, come out and cheer our team on. We had a great turnout at the Soledad game!
